SCI Greene - Pennsylvania Department of Corrections
Ground breaking occurred on October 29, 1991, and the institution was dedicated November 9, 1993. The first inmates arrived on January 3, 1994. The Institution reached its inmate capacity as of May 3, 1995. Construction was completed in March, 1999 on two new housing units within the perimeter.
